Scrooge game
The annual scrooge game. Always great fun. Everyone brings a gift. We each pick a number out of a hat. Number one goes first, that person picks a gift, opens it and shows it to everyone. Number two person can pick a new gift or take the first person gift. This game can go on for ages as we all take someone elses gift, which means they can then take someone elses gift... and so it goes. It doesn't work with children or folk that can't stand losing their favorite gift. If you get the gift three times during the game, thenit becomes yours for good ... no-one else can take
if from you. Working as a team (couple) helps to get the favorite gift of your choice before the game ends.

Universal Studios
We went to Universal Studios on Friday. It's been years since I was last there and boy has it ever changed. It was $43.00 buck to get in. We are now on a bus tour of the back lot.

This is hard to see. but I'm looking over a railing at the huge water spray made by a bob-sled coming down a water slide... below is a font view.

bob sled, Jerasic park ride
This water ride was great fun. The bob sled wound in and out of a cave, with a jurassic Park them.... lots of water and annimation. At the end of the ride the sled SHOOTS down and under a water fall.. slowing at the bottom with a HUGE backwash of water.... YOU GET SOAKED

Before getting on this ride, we bought a DOLLAR water poncho.. no way were we going on the ride with-out one... The three of us are in the second seat back... Dennis on the left, me Head down in the middle, Jenny on the right. It was a great ride... would be ok without poncho in the summer time.
