The Rushton roots started in a small town of Rochdale, in Lancashire, North-West England and also in a small village, Littleborough, nestled at the base of the West Pennines. The West Pennines are associated with the Pendle Witches and their history. Some of us immigrated to Toronto, Canada; and then moved to sunny California, which is where we all live now.
The Browns roots started in the small N. California town of Fall River.
My Dad, Kenneth Rushton, served in the Royal Navy from 1942 to 1946 and was on the HMS Orwell most of the time. He marched in the victory parade in Burma in an absolute downpour. Pictures and stories of the HMS Orwell.
October 22nd, 2008, became a Citizen.
